1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By accessing scand.ai or using the SCAND.Ai API, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

SCAND.Ai provides real-time monitoring and analysis of AI-related controversies. Data is aggregated from publicly available sources (social media, news, forums). We do not claim ownership of third-party content.

3. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. You may not: resell raw API data as a competing service, use the API for harassment or targeted abuse, or circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts.

4. Data Accuracy

AI-generated analyses are provided as-is. SCAND.Ai makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of controversy assessments. Do not rely solely on SCAND.Ai data for legal, financial, or critical business decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

The SCAND.Ai platform, scoring algorithms, and analysis methodology are proprietary. Public API data may be used in your products with attribution ("Data from scand.ai").

6. Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period. Refunds are at our discretion.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the API, or engage in harmful activity. You may delete your account by contacting support.

8. Limitation of Liability

SCAND.Ai is provided "as is" without warranty. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Automated Decision-Making

SCAND.Ai uses AI (Gemini by Google) to classify and analyze controversies. These automated assessments determine topic states, noise levels, and category assignments. No fully automated decisions are made that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. You may request human review of any classification by contacting us.
